Rauf dismissed the storming batsman.
Haris Rauf's brilliant bowling turned the match in such a way that the spectators were stunned. As it happened, 7 wickets had fallen for England's 130 runs. Liam Dawson, who came in at number eight, was playing after scoring 7 runs. Now England needed 33 runs in three overs. In the 18th over, Dawson brilliantly coded Mohammad Hasnain. He wreaked havoc on Hasnain's first ball, hitting sixes on the second, third and fourth balls. A total of 18 runs came from this over.

Now England needed only 9 runs in two overs to win. In such a situation, captain Babar Azam expressed confidence in Haris Rauf. It seemed that the England team would easily win the match. Dawson hit a four off the second ball of the 19th over and reduced the target to just 5 runs. England now had three wickets to spare and had to score just 5 runs in 10 balls. When Rauf bowled the next ball, Dawson pulled it but the fielder standing at mid-wicket caught him and sent him to the pavilion. Rauf bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets by giving 32 runs in 4 overs.
