Would love to meet India in the final

Riji said after the match against New Zealand – This is a very difficult question, but of course the Pakistan team would like to face India.  The competition between the two countries is always a thorn in the side and in such a situation, if fans from all over the world also want to see it, then we would also like to compete with India..

However, this journey of Pakistan till the final has not been easy.  India had lost to Zimbabwe in the first two matches.  Rizwan said on this wonderful comeback – We knew that after the defeat, we are going to do something different.  Coach Saqlain Mushtaq has always been saying that if something bad happens to you before then assume you are going to do something different.  I said there would be a big upset and here we are today.

team joining

Rizwan further said- The way the tournament started was not good for us, but the captain and the coaches reposed faith in us.  The team remained united and the result is in front of everyone.  We knew that if we stick together and chill, we can win the biggest match.  We were confident to beat New Zealand.  Rizwan was adjudged the player of the match for his brilliant innings of 57 off 43 balls against New Zealand.
